Synple moved to new labs

This week we had to bid farewell to our spin-off company Synple, which after their initial years at ETH has now moved to their own labs in Kempthal.

Synple was started in 2015 with an idea based on the most beloved item in the group: A coffee machine - but this time, for chemical reactions. Supported by ETH and other start-up fellowships, they developed this idea into a catridge-based automated synthesizer. With their product, they now contribute to making research time-efficient, less reliant on highly-skilled labor, and safer to the operator.

We are sad to see Benedict, Paulina, Tuo, and Samuele go, but we are glad that Synple takes this next step into the future.
